Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of front-end applications using React.js for JP Morgan Chase's digital banking platforms
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, back-end engineers, and product managers to create intuitive user interfaces for financial services
• Mentor and guide junior developers, conducting code reviews and fostering best practices in front-end engineering
• Implement responsive and accessible web components that comply with WCAG standards and financial accessibility guidelines
• Integrate front-end applications with APIs and microservices to handle real-time financial data and transactions
• Optimize application performance for high-traffic environments, ensuring low latency in trading and account management features
• Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives, to deliver features on time
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex front-end issues, maintaining system reliability for global banking operations
• Stay updated on emerging front-end technologies and recommend innovations to enhance user experience in wealth management tools

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development with React.js
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern web standards
• Experience building responsive, scalable web applications in a financial services environment
• Demonstrated ability to lead small teams and mentor junior developers
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and compliance with financial regulations like GDPR and SOX
