Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of front-end ReactJS applications for JP Morgan Chase's digital banking platforms
• Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams, including backend engineers, UX designers, and product managers, to deliver innovative tech solutions
• Implement responsive, user-centric interfaces that enhance customer experiences in financial services, such as account management and transaction processing
• Conduct code reviews, ensure adherence to coding standards, and promote best practices for scalability and performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments, minimizing downtime for critical financial systems
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing through technical documentation and training sessions
• Integrate security protocols and compliance requirements into front-end code to protect sensitive customer data
• Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize development processes
• Experiment with emerging front-end technologies to drive innovation in JP Morgan's tech ecosystem
• Monitor application performance and optimize for speed, ensuring seamless experiences across web and mobile platforms

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on front-end development
• Strong proficiency in ReactJS, including hooks, state management (e.g., Redux), and component-based architecture
• Experience working in agile environments with tools like Jira or Confluence for collaboration and sprint planning
• Demonstrated ability to lead small teams or mentor junior engineers in delivering high-quality code
• Knowledge of financial services regulations and secure coding practices to handle sensitive data
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern web standards (HTML5, CSS3)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the financial services industry, particularly with banking or payment systems
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive design for diverse user bases
• Previous work with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure in a financial context
• Certifications in React or related technologies, or contributions to open-source projects
• Experience integrating front-end applications with backend services using RESTful APIs or GraphQL
