Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of full stack applications supporting JP Morgan's core banking platforms
• Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams to deliver innovative tech solutions that enhance financial services efficiency
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and security standards
• Integrate front-end technologies like React or Angular with back-end services using Java or Python in a microservices architecture
• Optimize application performance and scalability to handle high-volume financial transactions securely
• Work closely with product owners and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical implementations
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in production environments, minimizing downtime for critical financial systems
• Contribute to the evolution of JP Morgan's technology roadmap, incorporating emerging trends like AI in fintech
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies in all software deliverables
• Participate in on-call rotations to support 24/7 availability of banking applications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• At least 5-7 years of professional software engineering experience with full stack development
• Proven experience in agile methodologies and leading small teams in a fast-paced environment
• Strong understanding of financial services technologies, including secure data handling and compliance standards like GDPR and SOX
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure in a regulated financial environment
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement scalable, high-availability applications
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a track record of delivering mission-critical solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience in the banking or financial services industry, particularly with payment systems or risk management tools
