Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of critical software solutions across multiple technical domains within an agile team at JP Morgan Chase
  • Collaborate with product managers, architects, and stakeholders to define technical requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives in the financial services sector
  • Mentor and guide junior software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
  • Drive code reviews, testing strategies, and deployment processes to maintain high-quality, secure, and scalable applications
  • Identify and resolve complex technical issues, optimizing performance for high-volume financial transactions
  • Integrate emerging technologies to enhance platform capabilities, such as AI/ML for risk assessment or blockchain for secure transactions

  • Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and agile ceremonies to deliver value iteratively

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
  • 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a lead or senior role
  • Proven experience in developing and deploying scalable applications in financial services or high-stakes environments
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in cross-functional teams
