Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of Java-based reconciliation applications using AWS infrastructure
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate KDB+ for efficient data querying and analysis in financial reconciliation workflows
  • Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality, secure code delivery
  • Optimize system performance for handling large-scale financial data volumes in real-time
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support agile development cycles
  • Ensure compliance with JP Morgan's security protocols and financial regulations in all software solutions

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
  • 8+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on Java-based applications
  • Proven expertise in AWS cloud services including EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS
  • Hands-on experience with KDB+ for high-performance data analytics and time-series data handling
  • Strong understanding of financial reconciliation processes and data integrity in banking systems
  • Experience leading development teams in agile environments within the financial services sector
  • Proficiency in building scalable, secure applications compliant with regulatory standards like GDPR and SOX
