Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of scalable Java-based applications for critical payment solutions on AWS
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate payment systems across multiple technical domains
• Mentor and guide junior engineers in best practices for cloud-native development and financial security
• Implement and optimize microservices to ensure high availability and low-latency transaction processing
• Conduct code reviews, testing, and deployment using CI/CD tools to maintain robust payment infrastructure
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in production environments, minimizing downtime for global financial operations
• Stay abreast of emerging AWS technologies and financial regulations to drive innovation in payment solutions
• Contribute to architectural decisions that enhance security, scalability, and compliance in JPMorgan Chase's ecosystem
• Document technical designs and processes to support knowledge sharing within the team

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 7+ years of professional software development experience with Java and related frameworks
• Proven experience in designing, developing, and deploying applications on AWS cloud platforms
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and payment processing systems in financial services
• Experience with agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Experience with real-time payment systems like RTP or SWIFT
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Java SE certifications
• Prior work in a regulated financial environment with knowledge of compliance standards like PCI-DSS
