Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high-quality Java-based applications for financial systems, ensuring scalability and performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams to deliver critical tech solutions across multiple domains
  • Design, deploy, and optimize cloud-native solutions on AWS, including EC2, Lambda, and S3 services
  • Lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and drive best practices in software engineering
  • Implement secure coding practices to protect sensitive financial data and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments
  • Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance banking platforms and trading systems
  • Contribute to architectural decisions for resilient, fault-tolerant systems in the financial sector
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to foster continuous improvement

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 7+ years of professional software development experience with Java and related frameworks
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing scalable applications on AWS cloud platform
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in agile teams
  • Experience in financial services or high-stakes environments handling sensitive data
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects and mentor junior engineers
  • Proficiency in software development lifecycle (SDLC) including testing and deployment
