Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy full-stack Java applications on AWS to support critical financial services platforms
• Collaborate with agile teams to deliver scalable tech solutions across trading, risk, and compliance systems
• Lead code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and ensure adherence to best practices in software engineering
• Integrate front-end technologies like React or Angular with backend services for seamless user experiences
• Optimize application performance and security in cloud environments, focusing on data encryption and access controls
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in production systems impacting financial operations
• Contribute to architectural decisions for high-availability systems in the financial sector
• Work with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical implementations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 7+ years of professional software development experience with Java and full-stack technologies
• Proven experience in AWS cloud services including EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in cross-functional teams
• Experience in financial services or high-stakes environments handling sensitive data
• Proficiency in building scalable, secure applications compliant with regulatory standards like GDPR and SOX

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
