Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy critical technology solutions using Java and fullstack technologies to support JP Morgan Chase's financial platforms
• Collaborate with agile teams to deliver high-quality software that enhances trading, risk management, and client services
• Lead code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and ensure adherence to best practices in secure and efficient coding
• Integrate systems with financial data sources, APIs, and third-party services while maintaining data integrity and security
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments, minimizing downtime for global financial operations
• Contribute to architectural decisions for scalable, resilient applications that handle high-volume transactions
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to drive continuous improvement
• Ensure solutions comply with regulatory standards and internal policies at JP Morgan Chase

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on Java development
• Strong experience in fullstack development, including frontend technologies like React or Angular
• Proven track record in agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams
• Experience in building scalable applications in the financial services domain
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and compliance with financial regulations such as GDPR and PCI-DSS

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure in a financial context
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
• Previous work at a major financial institution or fintech company
• Certifications in Java (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional) or fullstack development

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Java 8+ and Spring Boot framework
• Expertise in fullstack development with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React/Angular
