Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy critical Java-based solutions across multiple technical domains in an agile team
• Lead the architecture and implementation of scalable microservices for financial applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative tech solutions that support JP Morgan's global operations
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and best practices
• Conduct code reviews, ensure code quality, and optimize performance in high-volume trading and banking systems

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 7+ years of professional software development experience with Java
• Strong experience in building and maintaining scalable applications in a financial services environment
• Proficiency in agile methodologies and collaborative team environments
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects and mentor junior engineers
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure in a regulated industry
• Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, including CI/CD pipelines
