Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of critical software solutions using Java, React, and AWS technologies
• Collaborate with agile teams to deliver high-quality, scalable applications that support JP Morgan Chase's financial services platforms
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and security standards
• Integrate systems with financial data pipelines, ensuring compliance with industry regulations like GDPR and SOX
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues in production environments on AWS infrastructure
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to drive continuous improvement
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or AWS CodePipeline
• Contribute to innovation initiatives, such as adopting serverless architectures for cost-efficient financial processing
• Ensure robust testing strategies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for mission-critical banking applications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 7+ years of professional software development experience with Java and modern frameworks
• Proficiency in front-end technologies including React.js and related libraries
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement scalable, secure applications in a financial services environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Experience with microservices architecture and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
