Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot to support JP Morgan's financial platforms
• Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams to deliver critical tech solutions across trading, risk, and compliance domains
• Lead code reviews, ensure adherence to best practices, and optimize application performance for high-volume transactions
• Integrate microservices with existing legacy systems while maintaining data security and regulatory compliance
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments, minimizing downtime for global financial operations
• Mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team
• Contribute to architectural decisions, evaluating new technologies to enhance JP Morgan's digital banking and asset management services
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to drive agile delivery
• Ensure all solutions meet JP Morgan's standards for reliability, scalability, and cybersecurity in the financial sector

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 7+ years of professional software development experience with Java and Spring Boot
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing microservices architectures
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in agile teams
• Experience in financial services or high-stakes environments handling sensitive data
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and compliance with regulatory standards like GDPR and SOX
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and lead technical discussions
