Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of Java-based applications for Chase Travel, ensuring scalability and performance in a high-volume financial environment
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliver innovative solutions that enhance customer travel experiences
• Mentor and guide a team of software engineers, fostering best practices in code quality, testing, and security within JP Morgan Chase's engineering standards
• Integrate web development technologies to build intuitive user interfaces for travel booking and management systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the application stack, minimizing downtime in mission-critical financial services

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on Java development
• Proven experience in full-stack web development, including front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React or Angular
• Strong understanding of financial services domain, particularly in travel and payments systems
• Experience with agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines in a large-scale enterprise environment
