Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of critical software solutions using Java and AWS technologies
• Collaborate with agile teams to deliver high-quality tech solutions across multiple technical domains in the financial services space
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
• Ensure application security, scalability, and compliance with JP Morgan Chase's risk management standards
• Integrate cloud-native services to optimize performance and reduce operational costs
• Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement best practices for software engineering
• Partner with product owners and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives in banking operations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 7+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on Java development
• Proven experience in designing and implementing scalable applications on AWS cloud platforms
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in cross-functional teams
• Experience with financial services technologies, including secure data handling and compliance standards
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects and mentor junior engineers

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
