Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of critical software solutions using Java and AWS technologies
• Collaborate with agile teams to deliver high-quality tech solutions across multiple technical domains in support of JP Morgan Chase's financial services platforms
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
• Implement secure, scalable cloud-based applications that comply with industry regulations and internal security standards
• Conduct code reviews, optimize performance, and troubleshoot complex issues in production environments
• Integrate systems with JP Morgan's core banking infrastructure, ensuring seamless data flow and reliability
• Drive technical initiatives to enhance platform capabilities, such as migrating legacy systems to cloud-native architectures
• Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to align with business objectives in the financial sector

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 7+ years of professional software development experience with Java and related frameworks
• Proven experience in designing and implementing scalable applications on AWS cloud platforms
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects and mentor junior engineers
• Knowledge of financial services regulations and secure coding practices in banking environments
