Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable Java-based applications on AWS infrastructure
• Collaborate with agile teams to deliver critical technology solutions for financial services platforms
• Optimize Oracle database performance and ensure data integrity in high-volume transaction systems
• Lead code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and drive best practices in software engineering
• Integrate security protocols and compliance standards specific to JP Morgan Chase's regulatory environment
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments
• Contribute to architectural decisions for multi-technical area projects in payments and risk management
• Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Monitor application performance using AWS tools and implement proactive enhancements
• Foster innovation by exploring emerging technologies to enhance financial product delivery

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 7+ years of professional software development experience with Java
• Proven experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of Oracle database management and SQL
• Experience working in agile methodologies and cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects in a financial services environment
• U.S. work authorization and ability to obtain necessary security clearances

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
