Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable software solutions using Kubernetes, GoLang/Python/Java, and AWS to support JP Morgan Chase's financial platforms
• Collaborate with agile teams to deliver critical tech solutions across trading, risk analysis, and customer banking systems
• Lead code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and ensure adherence to best practices in secure coding for financial data
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost-efficiency and performance in high-volume transaction environments
• Integrate security protocols and compliance requirements into application development for regulatory adherence
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in production systems, minimizing downtime for global financial operations
• Contribute to innovation in fintech by exploring emerging technologies like serverless computing and AI-driven analytics
• Document technical designs and maintain codebases to support ongoing enhancements in JP Morgan's digital banking ecosystem
• Participate in sprint planning and retrospectives to drive continuous improvement in team delivery
• Monitor system performance and scalability, implementing monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in cloud-native development
• Proven expertise in Kubernetes for container orchestration and deployment in production environments
• Strong proficiency in GoLang, Python, or Java for building scalable backend services
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, ECS, Lambda, and S3
• Experience working in agile methodologies within cross-functional teams
• Solid understanding of financial services regulations and data security standards like GDPR and PCI-DSS

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in developing high-frequency trading systems or risk management platforms in banking
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and event-driven systems using Kafka or similar
• Prior work in a global financial institution handling large-scale data processing
• Knowledge of DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or GitHub Actions
