Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of scalable Oracle PL/SQL solutions for critical financial applications
• Collaborate with agile teams to deliver technical solutions across multiple domains, including trading, risk, and compliance
• Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity in high-stakes financial environments
• Mentor and guide junior software engineers on best practices for PL/SQL development
• Integrate PL/SQL components with enterprise systems to support real-time financial data processing
• Conduct code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to maintain system reliability
• Contribute to the architecture of secure, compliant database solutions aligned with JP Morgan Chase standards
• Participate in sprint planning and retrospectives to drive continuous improvement in team deliverables
• Analyze business requirements from stakeholders in investment banking and asset management to translate into technical specifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 7+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on Oracle PL/SQL
• Proven experience in designing, developing, and optimizing database solutions in a financial services environment
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects and mentor junior engineers
• Experience with financial data processing, compliance, and risk management systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with Java or other object-oriented programming languages integrated with Oracle databases
• Knowledge of financial regulations such as SOX, GDPR, or Basel III
• Prior work in high-volume transaction processing systems at a major financial institution
• Certifications in Oracle PL/SQL or related database technologies
