Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines using Python, AWS, and ServiceNow integrations
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements for data ingestion, processing, and analytics in support of JP Morgan Chase's financial operations
• Implement big data solutions to handle large-scale financial datasets, ensuring high availability and performance
• Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices in software engineering
• Integrate ServiceNow workflows to automate incident management and change requests within data engineering processes
• Optimize AWS cloud infrastructure for cost-efficiency and compliance with financial regulations like GDPR and SOX
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in production environments, minimizing downtime for critical banking systems
• Drive innovation by exploring emerging technologies to enhance data-driven decision-making in risk management and trading
• Ensure all data pipelines adhere to security standards and data privacy protocols specific to the financial sector

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a lead or senior role
• Proven experience in designing and implementing data pipelines using Python and AWS services
• Strong knowledge of big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka
• Experience integrating with ServiceNow for IT service management and automation in a financial services environment
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in agile development methodologies

• Experience in the financial services industry, particularly with regulatory compliance and data security
