Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable Python-based applications on AWS infrastructure to support JP Morgan's financial services platforms
• Collaborate with agile teams to deliver critical tech solutions across trading, risk management, and client services domains
• Architect cloud-native solutions ensuring high availability, security, and compliance with financial regulations
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and best practices in software development
• Integrate AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, and RDS to optimize performance and cost in banking applications
• Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure robust testing for production deployments
• Drive continuous improvement in development processes, including automation and DevOps practices
• Analyze business requirements from stakeholders in investment banking and asset management to translate into technical solutions
• Monitor and maintain system performance, implementing monitoring tools like CloudWatch for proactive issue resolution

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on Python development
• Proven experience in designing, developing, and deploying applications on AWS cloud platforms
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in cross-functional teams
• Experience in financial services or fintech environments, handling sensitive data and compliance requirements
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects and mentor junior engineers
