Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality software solutions using Python and React to support critical financial applications
• Lead agile teams in delivering tech solutions across multiple areas, including trading platforms and risk analytics
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical implementations
• Ensure code adheres to JP Morgan's security and compliance standards for the financial industry
• Mentor and guide junior engineers on best practices in software development

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with Python and React
• Proven track record in developing scalable applications in the financial services domain
• Experience working in agile environments with cross-functional teams
• Strong understanding of secure coding practices and compliance standards in banking
• Ability to lead technical discussions and mentor junior engineers
• U.S. work authorization and willingness to work in Houston, TX
