Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain critical software solutions using Python and React across multiple technical domains
• Collaborate with agile teams to deliver innovative tech solutions that support JP Morgan Chase's financial services operations
• Lead code reviews, ensure code quality, and implement best practices for security and performance
• Integrate applications with financial systems, handling sensitive data in compliance with regulatory requirements like GDPR and SOX
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical strategy for scalable, resilient systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to drive continuous improvement
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and apply them to enhance banking platforms
• Work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements
• Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing within the engineering team

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with Python and React
• Proven experience in agile development methodologies and cross-functional team collaboration
• Strong understanding of financial services technologies, including secure data handling and compliance standards
• Experience developing scalable applications in cloud environments like AWS or Azure
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects and mentor junior engineers
