Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of React-based front-end solutions for financial applications
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, and backend teams to deliver end-to-end features in an agile environment
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, conducting code reviews and fostering best practices in software engineering
• Ensure application security and compliance with financial regulations such as data privacy and audit requirements
• Optimize application performance and scalability to handle high-volume trading and transaction data
• Integrate front-end components with backend services, APIs, and microservices architectures
• Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments
• Contribute to the evolution of technology roadmaps for JP Morgan's digital banking platforms

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on front-end development
• Proven leadership experience in guiding agile teams and mentoring junior developers
• Strong understanding of financial services technologies and regulatory compliance (e.g., SEC, FINRA)
• Experience in building scalable web applications using React.js and modern JavaScript frameworks
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams within a large enterprise environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with JP Morgan's internal tools or similar banking tech stacks
