Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of critical software solutions across multiple technical domains in an agile environment
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and stakeholders to define technical requirements for financial applications
• Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and foster best practices in software engineering
• Ensure solutions adhere to JP Morgan Chase's security, compliance, and risk management standards
• Integrate systems with core banking platforms, handling high-throughput data processing for transactions and analytics
• Drive innovation by incorporating emerging technologies like cloud-native services and microservices architecture
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments, minimizing downtime for global financial operations
• Contribute to agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a lead or senior role
• Proven experience in developing and deploying applications in cloud environments such as AWS or Azure
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects in the financial services sector
• Proficiency in secure coding practices and compliance with regulatory standards like GDPR and SOX
• Experience with financial systems, data processing, or risk management technologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
