Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and migration of legacy WPF user interfaces to React as a founding member of the new React team
• Design and implement scalable, responsive UI components for equities sales pre-trade applications
• Collaborate with backend Java developers to integrate frontend solutions with core trading systems
• Spearhead greenfield initiatives to modernize user experiences in high-stakes financial environments
• Mentor junior engineers and drive best practices in React and JavaScript development
• Ensure compliance with financial industry standards and security protocols during UI transformations
• Conduct code reviews, optimize performance, and troubleshoot issues in real-time trading interfaces
• Partner with stakeholders in equities sales to gather requirements and deliver iterative improvements
• Contribute to the evolution of pre-trade tools, enhancing efficiency for traders and sales teams

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a focus on UI development
• Strong proficiency in Java and modern frontend frameworks, particularly React
• Experience in financial services, preferably in equities trading or sales systems
• Proven track record in leading greenfield projects and team initiatives
• Deep understanding of WPF migration to web-based technologies
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment in London

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with equities pre-trade systems or Evo platforms at JP Morgan Chase
