Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of AI/ML and GenAI-powered data solutions to enhance customer experiences in Consumer and Community Banking
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and stakeholders to identify and implement innovative data technologies that drive operational efficiency
• Architect scalable, secure data pipelines and ML models compliant with financial regulations such as GDPR and SOX
• Mentor junior engineers and lead agile teams in delivering high-impact projects within JP Morgan Chase's technology ecosystem
• Integrate GenAI capabilities to automate processes, personalize banking services, and improve fraud detection
• Conduct code reviews, ensure best practices in software engineering, and optimize performance for large-scale data environments
• Evaluate emerging AI/ML technologies and recommend integrations to support JP Morgan's digital transformation goals
• Monitor and troubleshoot production systems, ensuring reliability and minimal downtime in 24/7 banking operations
• Contribute to risk assessments and ethical AI practices to maintain trust and compliance in financial services

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on AI/ML and data technologies
• Proven track record in designing and implementing scalable data solutions in financial services
• Strong understanding of Generative AI (GenAI) frameworks and their application in banking
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP for data processing and ML deployment
• Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional teams driving AI/ML initiatives
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance in financial services, including data privacy and security standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in AI, Machine Learning, or Data Science
• Experience with JP Morgan Chase's technology stack or similar enterprise environments
• Certifications in AI/ML (e.g., AWS Certified Machine Learning, Google Professional Data Engineer)
• Prior work in Consumer and Community Banking domains, enhancing customer experiences through tech
• Familiarity with big data tools like Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka in high-volume financial transactions
