Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of technical solutions for payments IT systems, ensuring alignment with business objectives
• Bridge communication between product owners, software developers, and other stakeholders to facilitate seamless project delivery
• Conduct advanced analytics on payment data to provide data-driven insights and recommendations for process improvements
• Collaborate with engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories
• Oversee the end-to-end delivery of payment-related projects, managing timelines, risks, and resources
• Ensure solutions comply with JP Morgan Chase's security standards and financial regulations
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the development of best practices in payments IT
• Monitor and analyze system performance metrics to identify and resolve bottlenecks in payment processing
• Facilitate workshops and requirement-gathering sessions with global teams in the financial services domain
• Drive innovation in payment solutions by evaluating new technologies and integrating them into existing architectures

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT business analysis, with a focus on payments systems in the financial services industry
• Proven track record in leading technical solutions for complex projects in a large-scale banking environment
• Strong understanding of payment processing protocols, including SWIFT, ACH, and real-time payments
• Experience with data analytics tools and methodologies to derive actionable insights
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners, developers, and stakeholders
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance in financial services, such as PCI DSS and GDPR

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business Analytics or a related discipline
• Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster) or business analysis (e.g., CBAP)
• Prior experience working at a major financial institution like JP Morgan Chase
• Knowledge of blockchain or emerging payment technologies
