Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end technical programs for payments technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and compliance teams to define program scope, timelines, and deliverables
  • Drive innovation in payment processing systems, including integration of real-time payments and fraud detection technologies
  • Manage risks, dependencies, and resources across multiple projects to deliver high-quality outcomes on time and within budget
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies, track progress using metrics, and report to senior leadership on program status
  • Mentor junior program managers and foster a culture of continuous improvement in technical delivery
  • Ensure adherence to JP Morgan Chase's security and data privacy standards in all payment-related programs
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and technology adoption to enhance payment efficiency
  • Coordinate with global teams to support international payment solutions and scalability
  • Conduct post-program reviews to capture lessons learned and drive future program success

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in technical program management, with at least 5 years in payments technology or financial services
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale, cross-functional programs in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong understanding of payment systems, including real-time payments, ACH, SWIFT, and emerging fintech solutions
  • Experience with agile methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar for program delivery
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • PMP, CSM, or equivalent certification in project/program management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in regulatory compliance for payments (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR, or SOX)
  • Background in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) and microservices architecture
