Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end technical program delivery for payments technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with JP Morgan Chase's strategic goals in global financial services
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, compliance, and risk, to drive innovation in payment processing and transaction systems
  • Define program scope, timelines, budgets, and success metrics for complex projects involving real-time payments and digital wallet integrations
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with financial regulations, cybersecurity threats, and operational disruptions in a high-volume trading environment
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies, resource allocation, and vendor management to accelerate delivery of scalable payment solutions
  • Provide executive reporting on program status, KPIs, and ROI, influencing decisions at the firm-wide level
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing best practices in technical program management within the payments technology domain
  • Mentor junior program managers and contribute to the development of JP Morgan's technology roadmap for future-proofing payment infrastructures
  • Ensure all programs adhere to JP Morgan's standards for data privacy, ethical AI use, and sustainable technology practices

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in technical program management, with at least 5 years in payments or financial technology
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale, complex technology programs in a global financial services environment
  • Strong understanding of payment systems, including real-time payments, cross-border transactions, and regulatory compliance (e.g., PSD2, SWIFT)
  • Experience with agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and risk management in high-stakes financial projects
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface with senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives
  • PMP, CSM, or equivalent certification in project/program management
