Key Responsibilities

• Support legal teams in reviewing and drafting contracts, agreements, and regulatory filings for JP Morgan Chase's operations in Latin America
• Conduct research on local and international financial regulations to ensure compliance with Argentine banking laws and global standards
• Assist in managing legal risks associated with investment banking, asset management, and commercial banking activities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including compliance, risk, and business units to provide legal advice on transactions
• Participate in due diligence processes for mergers, acquisitions, and client onboarding in the Buenos Aires office
• Monitor and report on emerging legal issues in the financial services sector, particularly in fintech and sustainable finance
• Contribute to internal training sessions on legal best practices for junior staff and reentry participants
• Handle documentation and correspondence for litigation support or dispute resolution in financial matters
• Engage in program-specific projects to rebuild professional networks and skills in a supportive environment

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in legal, compliance, or financial services prior to career break
• Fluency in English and Spanish, with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Eligibility to work in Argentina without sponsorship
• Demonstrated commitment to returning to a full-time career in the financial services industry
• Ability to obtain necessary security clearances for handling sensitive financial and legal information
• Availability for a 12-month program starting in 2026 in Buenos Aires
