Key Responsibilities

  • Support the cross-LOB Product Control Governance team in overseeing and governing legal entity booking models across JP Morgan Chase's Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB)
  • Develop and implement governance frameworks to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations on booking structures
  • Collaborate with product control, finance, and front-office teams to review and approve booking model changes and new product initiatives
  • Conduct assessments and testing of booking models to identify risks, inconsistencies, and control gaps
  • Provide advisory support on legal entity implications for trading activities, derivatives, and capital markets products
  • Monitor regulatory developments and ensure booking models align with evolving requirements like those from the FCA or PRA
  • Facilitate governance forums, prepare reporting materials, and escalate issues to senior management
  • Drive process improvements in booking model documentation and controls to enhance efficiency and risk mitigation
  • Support audit and regulatory interactions by providing documentation and insights on governance practices

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or Master's) preferred
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in finance governance, product control, or legal entity management within a major financial institution
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements such as Basel III, Dodd-Frank, and EMIR, particularly related to booking models and entity structures
  • Proven track record in cross-functional collaboration across Lines of Business (LOBs) in a global banking environment
