Key Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve production defects in the Loan IQ system, ensuring minimal disruption to loan operations and client services
• Collaborate with development, QA, and business teams to triage, prioritize, and track defects through to resolution
• Perform root cause analysis on recurring issues to recommend preventive measures and system enhancements
• Monitor Loan IQ production environments using tools to detect anomalies and proactively address potential defects
• Document defect details, including reproduction steps, impact assessments, and resolution summaries in tracking systems
• Support post-implementation testing and validation to confirm defect fixes in production
• Contribute to knowledge base articles and training materials for Loan IQ defect management best practices
• Liaise with global stakeholders at JP Morgan Chase to align on defect priorities and regulatory requirements
• Assist in the deployment of patches and updates to Loan IQ while minimizing business risks
• Analyze defect trends to identify opportunities for process improvements in the product portfolio

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field
• 2-4 years of experience in software testing, defect management, or production support within financial services
• Proficiency in Loan IQ platform, including its core modules for loan processing and syndication
• Strong understanding of defect lifecycle, including identification, logging, triage, and resolution in a production environment
• Experience with issue tracking tools such as JIRA, ServiceNow, or similar
• Knowledge of SQL and basic database querying for troubleshooting production issues
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in Loan IQ or related financial software (e.g., Moody's Loan IQ certification)
• Experience in the banking or capital markets sector, particularly with syndicated loans or credit products
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices in software delivery
• Prior exposure to regulatory compliance standards like Basel III or IFRS 9 in loan systems
