Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily loan servicing operations, including payment processing, account maintenance, and reconciliation
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards for loan portfolios
  • Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and external vendors to resolve servicing issues
  • Monitor loan performance metrics, identify risks, and implement corrective actions
  • Lead process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency in the Loans group
  • Prepare reports and analyses on loan servicing activities for senior management
  • Train and mentor junior team members to maintain high service standards
  • Handle escalations and complex queries related to loan agreements and documentation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in risk, credit, and technology to support lending services
  • Contribute to audit preparations and ensure accurate record-keeping for regulatory reviews

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in loan servicing, operations, or related financial services roles
  • Strong understanding of loan documentation, regulatory compliance, and risk management in the banking sector
  • Proficiency in financial systems and tools used in lending operations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills for stakeholder interaction
  • Relevant certifications such as CFA or FRM (preferred but not mandatory)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in syndicated loans or commercial lending at a major financial institution
  • Knowledge of Indian banking regulations and international loan servicing standards
  • Advanced degree (MBA) in Finance or equivalent
  • Prior leadership experience managing small teams in operations
