Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor an assigned portfolio of commercial and consumer loans, ensuring timely payments and compliance with terms
  • Review and process loan modifications, renewals, and restructurings in accordance with JPMorgan Chase policies
  • Conduct regular audits and reconciliations of loan accounts to identify discrepancies and resolve issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including credit analysts, legal, and risk management to mitigate potential defaults
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements such as KYC, AML, and local Indian financial laws
  • Prepare detailed reports on portfolio performance, delinquency rates, and risk metrics for senior management
  • Handle customer inquiries and escalations related to loan servicing with professionalism and efficiency
  • Utilize JPMorgan Chase's proprietary systems to track and update loan data accurately
  • Support ad-hoc projects such as system migrations or process improvements in the lending services team
  • Contribute to training junior staff on loan servicing best practices and compliance standards

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in loan servicing, credit operations, or financial services
  • Strong knowledge of loan documentation, regulatory compliance, and banking policies
  • Proficiency in financial systems and software used in lending operations
  • Ability to handle complex loan portfolios with high accuracy and attention to detail
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Loan Servicing Professional or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with international loan portfolios in a global bank like JPMorgan Chase
  • Advanced knowledge of Indian banking regulations and RBI guidelines
  • Prior exposure to syndicated loans or commercial lending products
  • Master's degree in Finance or MBA from a recognized institution
  • Fluency in additional languages such as Hindi or other regional Indian languages

Required Skills

  • Expertise in loan servicing software such as Loan IQ or similar platforms
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and data analysis
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and credit risk assessment
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for stakeholder interactions
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks like Basel III and Indian banking norms
