Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of cloud migration strategies for mainframe applications, ensuring seamless integration with JP Morgan Chase's hybrid cloud environment
• Mentor and guide a team of senior software engineers in developing scalable, secure solutions for financial transaction processing
• Collaborate with stakeholders across risk, compliance, and operations teams to align technical solutions with business objectives in the financial services domain
• Oversee the modernization of legacy mainframe systems using microservices and containerization technologies
• Conduct code reviews, performance optimizations, and ensure adherence to enterprise security protocols
• Drive innovation in cloud-native architectures to enhance efficiency in high-volume financial data processing
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources for TS2-level initiatives within JP Morgan Chase's technology roadmap
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with cloud transitions in a regulated financial environment
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the engineering team
• Present technical updates and roadmaps to senior leadership to support strategic decision-making

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years focused on mainframe technologies and cloud migration
• Proven leadership experience in leading cross-functional teams on large-scale enterprise projects
• Deep expertise in IBM z/OS, CICS, IMS, and mainframe modernization strategies
• Strong understanding of financial services regulations, including data security and compliance standards like SOX and GDPR
• Experience with agile methodologies and DevOps practices in a high-stakes financial environment
• Ability to obtain necessary security clearances for handling sensitive financial data

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with JP Morgan Chase's internal tools and platforms for mainframe-cloud integration
• Certification in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, with focus on hybrid cloud architectures
• Prior work in financial services, particularly in banking or asset management sectors
