Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement secure, scalable mainframe applications integrated with cloud technologies to support JP Morgan Chase's financial products
  • Collaborate with agile teams to deliver market-leading technology solutions for trading, risk management, and customer banking systems
  • Lead the migration of legacy mainframe systems to cloud-native architectures, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity
  • Conduct code reviews, testing, and debugging of complex software components in a high-stakes financial environment

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on mainframe technologies
  • Proven experience in cloud migration and hybrid cloud environments, particularly with AWS or Azure
  • Strong knowledge of mainframe systems including z/OS, CICS, and IMS
  • Experience with agile methodologies and DevOps practices in a financial services context
  • Ability to obtain necessary security clearances for handling sensitive financial data

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
