Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop secure, scalable mainframe applications integrated with cloud technologies as part of an agile team at JP Morgan Chase
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative technology products supporting financial services operations
• Lead the migration and modernization of legacy mainframe systems (TS2/z/OS) to cloud environments, ensuring minimal disruption to banking services
• Implement best practices for code quality, security, and performance in high-volume transaction processing systems
• Conduct code reviews, debugging, and optimization of mainframe software to meet regulatory and operational standards
• Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives, to drive continuous improvement
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in mainframe-cloud hybrid architectures, maintaining 24/7 availability for global financial operations
• Mentor junior engineers on mainframe technologies and cloud integration best practices
• Ensure compliance with JP Morgan Chase's security protocols and financial industry regulations during development
• Contribute to the evolution of technology roadmaps for mainframe services in the context of digital transformation

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on mainframe technologies
• Proven experience in cloud migration and integration of mainframe systems with modern cloud platforms
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated ability to design secure, scalable software solutions in a financial services environment
• Experience with TS2 (z/OS) mainframe environments and related tools
• U.S. work authorization and ability to work in Wilmington, DE

Preferred Qualifications
