Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor multiple software engineering teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions for JP Morgan Chase's financial platforms
• Oversee day-to-day implementation activities, ensuring alignment with project timelines and business objectives
• Set overall guidance for team output, including technical practices, code quality standards, and innovation initiatives
• Foster collaboration between engineering, product, and compliance teams to drive efficient workflows
• Manage resource allocation, performance evaluations, and professional development for team members
• Identify and mitigate risks in software development, particularly those related to financial data security and regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to define roadmaps for engineering projects in areas like trading systems or client portals
• Drive adoption of best practices in agile development, DevOps, and continuous integration/delivery
• Monitor and report on team productivity, project milestones, and key performance indicators
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and recommend integrations to enhance JP Morgan's competitive edge in financial services

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role
• Proven track record of leading multiple engineering teams in delivering complex software solutions in the financial services sector
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience managing day-to-day implementation activities
• Experience in setting technical standards, practices, and fostering collaboration across cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements in banking and capital markets
• Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources for large-scale engineering projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a global financial institution like JP Morgan Chase
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure in a regulated environment
• Advanced degree or certifications in software engineering or project management (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master)
• Prior exposure to fintech innovations, including AI/ML applications in trading or risk management
• International experience managing diverse, remote teams in the Asia-Pacific region

• Proficiency in Java, Python, or C++ for financial application development
