Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of full stack applications using Java for backend services and React/Angular for intuitive user interfaces
• Collaborate with agile teams to implement critical tech solutions that support JP Morgan Chase's financial products and services
• Drive strategic initiatives across multiple technical areas, ensuring alignment with business goals in risk management and client services
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous improvement in software engineering practices
• Ensure all solutions adhere to financial industry standards for security, compliance, and data privacy (e.g., GDPR, SOX)
• Optimize application performance and scalability to handle high-volume financial transactions
• Conduct code reviews, testing, and debugging to maintain high-quality deliverables

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in full stack software development with Java backend and React/Angular frontend
• Proven experience in agile methodologies and leading small engineering teams
• Strong understanding of financial services technologies and regulatory compliance (e.g., data security in banking)
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure in a financial context
