Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple software engineering teams focused on Java fullstack development for JP Morgan Chase's financial platforms
• Oversee day-to-day implementation activities, ensuring high-quality code delivery and adherence to best practices
• Set strategic guidance for team output, including architecture decisions, coding standards, and collaboration protocols
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and business stakeholders to align engineering efforts with financial services goals
• Drive agile methodologies, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and continuous improvement in a regulated environment
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements specific to banking and investment services
• Monitor and optimize system performance for high-volume financial transactions and data processing
• Identify and mitigate technical risks in fullstack applications supporting global financial operations
• Contribute to recruitment, performance reviews, and career development for engineering talent

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role
• Proven track record of leading fullstack development teams in Java-based environments
• Strong understanding of financial services technologies, including secure data handling and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, SOX)
• Experience managing multiple agile teams in a fast-paced, high-stakes financial environment
• Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and drive technical excellence in large-scale applications
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders in banking and investment services

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
