Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with emerging middle-market companies, providing tailored financial solutions including lending, treasury services, and capital markets access
  • Lead the origination of new business opportunities by identifying prospects in the Cleveland region and leveraging JPMorgan Chase's national network
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and credit underwriting to structure deals that align with client needs and bank risk parameters
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including credit, treasury, and investment banking, to deliver integrated solutions for clients
  • Monitor portfolio performance, manage risk exposure, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards in commercial banking
  • Represent JPMorgan Chase at industry events, networking functions, and client meetings to enhance brand visibility and client acquisition
  • Mentor junior relationship managers and contribute to team development initiatives within the Commercial Banking division
  • Prepare and present business plans, portfolio reviews, and performance reports to senior leadership

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial banking, relationship management, or financial services targeting middle-market companies
  • Proven track record in originating and managing client relationships with emerging middle-market businesses (revenues between $10M-$100M)
  • Deep understanding of credit analysis, risk management, and financial structuring in the commercial banking sector
  • Strong network within the Cleveland business community and ability to source new client opportunities
  • Series 7 and 63 licenses or equivalent, with willingness to obtain if not held
  • Ability to travel up to 50% within the region to meet clients and attend industry events
