  • Process and validate corporate actions including mergers, dividends, splits, and tender offers to ensure accuracy and timeliness
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as trading, custody, and compliance to mitigate operational risks
  • Monitor and execute client instructions for corporate actions, delivering exceptional service to institutional clients
  • Perform reconciliation of corporate action events across multiple asset classes and jurisdictions
  • Identify and escalate potential issues in corporate action notifications to senior management
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of procedural documentation and controls
  • Support audit and regulatory reporting related to asset servicing activities
  • Analyze market data and announcements from sources like Bloomberg or DTC to anticipate action impacts
  • Assist in training junior staff on corporate actions best practices
  • Ensure compliance with JP Morgan Chase's risk management policies and global standards

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in corporate actions processing or asset servicing within the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of securities processing, including equities, fixed income, and derivatives
  • Proficiency in regulatory requirements such as SEC, FINRA, and international standards for corporate actions
  • Experience with risk management and control frameworks in a banking environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume transaction environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced certification such as CFA or FRM
  • Prior experience at a major investment bank like JP Morgan Chase
  • Knowledge of SWIFT messaging and ISO 20022 standards
