Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Corporate Actions team, ensuring timely and accurate processing of events for Prime clients and equity desks
  • Oversee the handling of U.S. asset corporate events as custodian, including notifications, elections, and settlements
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as trading desks, compliance, and client services to mitigate risks
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and compliance
  • Monitor and analyze corporate action events to identify potential impacts on client portfolios

  • Provide guidance and training to team members on complex corporate action scenarios
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and internal controls in all operations

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in corporate actions processing within asset servicing or custody operations
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams in a fast-paced financial services environment
  • In-depth knowledge of U.S. securities markets, including equities and fixed income
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements such as SEC, FINRA, and DTC rules
  • Experience with Prime brokerage services and equity desk operations
