Key Responsibilities

  • Process and validate corporate actions for securities across various asset classes to ensure accuracy and timeliness
  • Collaborate with trading, operations, and client service teams to mitigate risks associated with market events
  • Monitor and analyze potential impacts of corporate actions on client portfolios and JP Morgan's positions
  • Implement risk controls and escalation procedures to prevent errors in asset servicing
  • Provide exceptional client support by resolving inquiries related to corporate actions and market risks
  • Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency in the Markets Asset Servicing team
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations in all servicing activities
  • Prepare reports and documentation for risk assessments and audit purposes
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss emerging market risks and servicing challenges

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in asset servicing, corporate actions processing, or risk management within the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, securities, and corporate actions such as mergers, dividends, and stock splits
  • Proficiency in risk assessment and control processes in a high-volume trading environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle complex, time-sensitive tasks
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and client satisfaction

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced certification such as CFA or FRM
  • Experience with JP Morgan Chase systems or similar banking platforms like Aladdin or internal risk tools
  • Prior work in a global markets division handling multi-asset class servicing
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements including SEC, FINRA, and Dodd-Frank Act
