Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the detection, escalation, and resolution of real-time issues in payment operations for the Riyadh Branch
  • Develop and implement robust control frameworks to mitigate risks in payment processing and settlement activities
  • Conduct regular reviews and audits of payment controls to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, compliance, and technology, to enhance payment system integrity
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for payment controls, providing actionable insights to senior management
  • Escalate critical incidents to regional and global stakeholders, ensuring timely resolution and minimal business impact

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in payment processing, risk management, or control functions within the financial services industry
  • Proven track record in managing compliance and control processes in a banking environment, preferably in the Middle East region
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for payments in Saudi Arabia, including SAMA guidelines and international standards like SWIFT
  • Experience with real-time monitoring and escalation of operational risks in high-volume transaction environments
  • Fluency in English and Arabic, with excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
