Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand JP Morgan Chase's merchant services portfolio in the Plano region
  • Prospect and acquire new merchant clients through cold calling, networking, and industry events
  • Conduct needs assessments and present tailored merchant services solutions, including payment processing and value-added offerings
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing to close deals while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-suite executives and decision-makers
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as product, risk, and operations to deliver seamless onboarding and support
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to develop strategies for growth in the financial services sector
  • Track and report on sales pipeline, forecasting revenue, and achieving quarterly targets
  • Provide ongoing support to existing clients to upsell additional JP Morgan Chase financial products
  • Stay updated on industry regulations, such as those from Visa, Mastercard, and federal banking authorities

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management within the financial services industry
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in merchant acquiring or payment processing
  • Strong understanding of payment processing, POS systems, and merchant services ecosystems
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships at executive levels
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% for client meetings and industry events
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree in Finance or Business Administration
  • Experience working with large enterprise merchants or in the retail/hospitality sectors
  • Familiarity with PCI compliance standards and fraud prevention in payments
  • Previous exposure to JP Morgan Chase products or similar banking services
  • Bilingual skills, particularly Spanish, given the diverse client base in Texas
