Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of mid-cap M&A transactions, capital markets deals, and strategic advisory mandates in the Media & Communications sector
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with mid-cap clients, including media companies, telecom providers, and content creators
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including valuation modeling, due diligence, and scenario planning for client engagements
  • Collaborate with senior bankers to pitch new business opportunities and win mandates from prospective clients
  • Mentor and supervise Associates and Analysts, ensuring high-quality deliverables and team development
  • Coordinate with internal teams, including legal, compliance, and product specialists, to deliver seamless transaction support
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscapes in media and communications to provide strategic insights
  • Prepare pitch books, teasers, and other marketing materials tailored to mid-cap clients
  • Manage deal processes from origination through closing, including negotiations and stakeholder management
  • Contribute to the growth of JPMorgan Chase's Mid-Cap Investment Banking franchise in Dallas by identifying expansion opportunities

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 7-10 years of experience in investment banking, with a focus on mid-cap transactions in the Media & Communications sector
  • Proven track record of executing M&A deals, capital raises, and advisory services for mid-cap clients
  • Strong understanding of financial modeling, valuation techniques, and market dynamics in media and communications industries
  • Series 7 and 63 licenses or equivalent FINRA registrations required
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to interface with C-suite executives
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Experience at a bulge-bracket or boutique investment bank with a media/telecom practice
  • Deep sector knowledge in digital media, broadcasting, telecommunications, or entertainment
