Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance .NET applications for Workplace Solutions, focusing on enterprise-wide tools that enhance employee productivity in a financial services context
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions
• Implement secure, scalable microservices and APIs that integrate with JP Morgan's core banking systems
• Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and debugging to ensure code quality and reliability in mission-critical financial environments
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues in production systems supporting global trading and risk management
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and contribute to innovation initiatives within JP Morgan's technology roadmap
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in knowledge-sharing sessions to foster a culture of continuous learning
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal security policies in all development activities
• Integrate third-party services and data sources to enhance Workplace Solutions for JP Morgan's diverse workforce

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience with .NET technologies
• Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET Framework/Core
• Experience with building scalable enterprise applications in the financial services sector
• Demonstrated ability to work in agile environments and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and compliance standards relevant to banking (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS)

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a technical discipline
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS in financial applications
• Prior work at a major financial institution like JP Morgan Chase
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines
