Key Responsibilities

• Lead penetration testing initiatives for JP Morgan Chase's global financial systems, identifying vulnerabilities in core banking applications and infrastructure
• Manage end-to-end operations projects, from scoping and planning to execution and reporting, ensuring alignment with firm-wide cybersecurity standards
• Optimize testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and reduce risks in high-volume transaction environments
• Build and maintain strong client relationships with internal business units and external partners, providing expert guidance on security assessments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, compliance, and risk management to integrate pentesting outcomes into broader financial operations
• Develop and implement remediation strategies based on test findings, prioritizing threats to financial data integrity and regulatory compliance
• Monitor and report on project metrics, using data analytics to drive continuous improvement in cybersecurity operations
• Ensure all activities adhere to JP Morgan Chase's ethical hacking policies and industry regulations
• Mentor junior team members on advanced pentesting techniques and project management best practices
• Stay abreast of emerging threats in the financial services landscape and adapt testing protocols accordingly

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in cybersecurity operations, with at least 5 years focused on penetration testing and vulnerability assessments
• Proven track record in project management within financial services, including leading cross-functional teams in high-stakes security environments
• Deep knowledge of regulatory compliance standards such as PCI-DSS, GDPR, and SOX relevant to banking and financial institutions
• Experience in managing client relationships in a B2B financial services context, ensuring alignment with security best practices
• Certification in penetration testing such as OSCP, CEH, or CISSP
• Strong understanding of risk management frameworks in the financial sector

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree (Master's or MBA) in Cybersecurity or Business Administration
• Experience with JP Morgan Chase's internal tools and processes, or similar large-scale financial institutions
• Background in agile project management methodologies applied to cybersecurity projects
• Familiarity with cloud security testing in AWS, Azure, or hybrid environments used in banking
• Prior leadership role in international cybersecurity teams, particularly in Latin America

Required Skills

• Expertise in penetration testing tools such as Metasploit, Burp Suite, and Nmap
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automated security testing
• Strong knowledge of network security protocols and web application vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10)
• Experience with vulnerability management platforms like Nessus or Qualys
• Project management skills using tools like Jira, MS Project, or Confluence
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities for client-facing interactions
• Analytical thinking to assess complex financial system risks
• Leadership and team collaboration in multicultural environments
• Understanding of financial regulations and compliance in banking
• Problem-solving skills for high-pressure security incident scenarios
• Familiarity with secure coding practices in Java, .NET, or similar for financial apps
• Data analysis and reporting using SQL or BI tools
