Key Responsibilities

  • Handle confirmation of FX trades, ensuring accuracy and timely execution in line with client agreements
  • Perform pre-confirmation checks for settlements to mitigate risks and discrepancies
  • Manage payment releases for FX transactions, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain and update client and business reference data to support seamless trade processing
  • Conduct post-settlement investigations, resolving breaks and exceptions efficiently
  • Collaborate with global teams to ensure compliance with regulatory and operational standards
  • Monitor trade lifecycle events, identifying and escalating potential issues
  • Support audit and reconciliation processes for FX operations
  • Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives within the Market Operations team
  • Provide ad-hoc support to clients and internal business units on trade-related queries

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in financial services operations, preferably in FX or trade lifecycle management
  • Strong understanding of foreign exchange markets and trade settlement processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel for data analysis
  • Excellent command of English, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with attention to detail
  • Relevant certifications such as CFA Level 1 or Operations-related qualifications are advantageous

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with FX confirmation and settlement systems like SWIFT or Calypso
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in FX trading (e.g., Dodd-Frank, EMIR)
